Who am I?

Richard Wallington

This is my web site

I was born in Wigan, Lancashire on 20 March 1975. I then spent the next 18 years growing up in the area.

In September 1993, I moved to Uxbridge, Middlesex to start my degree course at Brunel University. I returned home for six months to complete my first Industrial Placement in Preston.

I then spent the next four years in and around London and Uxbridge.

I now live near west Drayton, Middlesex with my wife Jennifer. We were married in June 1998.

During the last two years, I have seen change impacting on all areas of my life. I have needed to adapt to an accelerating rate of change as I have navigated from University to a working environment.

I have changed many working habits. Teamwork has become vital. Success is not measured on an individual basis but on the overall success of the people I am working with.

I have witnessed the impact of IT on the working environment. I have seen how the application of IT can lead to successful and innovative solutions. I have been involved in several projects where this has been the case.

On a more personal front I feel change has helped me to become more resourceful and mature.
